Andy Update
Andy Watt had a serious bike accident near Spean Bridge on Thur 3rd Jun. - with injuries to pelvic & hip, broken leg, broken facial bones, spinal & neck injuries. No other vehicle was involved, suspect a rear tyre blow out, left road and hit a fence post. He will be in current hospital for next few weeks, then will be moved to varoius hospital for further treatment. Update - Andy is still in intensive care & slowy responding to treatment, visiting restricted to family only, but hopefully after the 21st Jun may get a chance to visit, as he is still being kept sedated. Latest - Andy improving daily, sedation being reduced, visits possible in next week or so. Andy has now moved to Royal Imfirmary.

WEEKEND TRIP, MAY 2010: Reports from various sources indicate that the Club weekend trip to Thurso by 12 Members/Guests was a great success, the evening meal and get together being in the Holborn. Like all good trips you can’t always plan for the unexpected like a John Williams, Silver Jubilee Triumph, halfway through the trip the machine would refuse to start at times, other times first kick, and finally nothing. On Sunday morning in what motorcyclists do best (looking after each other) John Burgess went and located a trailer to transport the machine back to Nairn. The weekend trip members returning on the A9 from Thurso and were met by fellow members out on a planned Sunday run. Further examination of the Triumph once home revealed a faulty wire between the 2 coils under the seat.
