REPORTS
SCOTTISH VINTAGE TRAINING DAY: Alford 23rd May. No report.
JOINT RUN WITH HISTORIC WHEELS CLUB: Bert McKay mentioned that the joint run held on the 23rd May and organised by Geoff Hanson and Sue Noble was very well run with a good turnout, around 19 machines took part in the run with the oldest being a 1936 AJS v- twin, the route took the motorcycles through Dallas, Knockando, Glenlivet, Dufftown, Maggieknockater on to the B9103 and  back  to Elgin.
WEEKEND TRIP, MAY 2010: Reports from various sources indicate that the Club weekend trip to Thurso by 12 Members/Guests was a great success, the evening meal and get together being in the Holborn, like all good trips you can’t always plan for the unexpected, one being an unplanned visitor called Richard and the second being a John Williams Silver Jubilee Triumph, halfway through the trip the machine would refuse to start at times, other times first kick, and finally nothing. On Sunday morning in  what motorcyclists do best (looking after each other) John Burgess locates a trailer from a relative, to transport the machine back to Nairn. The weekend trip members returning on the A9 from Thurso were met by fellow members out on a planned Sunday run. Further examination of the Triumph once home revealed a faulty wire between the 2 coils under the seat.
CAIRN O MOUNT RUN: No report, the Cairn itself was closed most of the day.
CAITHNESS CLASSIC MC RALLY & RUN: We are indebted to Alan Hopkins for the information,  109 bikes  took part in the rally and run, starting at Lybster and finishing at Thurso town hall approximately 80 miles later.
INVERNESS CLASSIC CAR SHOW: Report from Bert McKay & Davy Murray, Inverness’s Classic Vehicle Show saw machines on display in Church street, High street, Inglis street and Falcon Square, the event brought back a feeling of motoring from yesteryear with Commercial vehicle, Cars and Motorcycles including a 1922 Raleigh motorcycle owned by Mr Robert Mckay.

ANY OTHER BUSINESS
ANDY WATT: The Chairman gave an update on long time and well known club member Andy Watt who on the 3rd June had a very serious bike accident near Spean Bridge, no other vehicle was involved in the accident, suspect a rear tyre blow out.
